Journal of Transformative Praxis

Special Issue

Call for “Research Communication on Research Methodologies”

This is a call for a special issue on Research Communication on Research Methodologies in the Journal of Transformative Praxis (JrTP), in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair in Teacher Education at the Kathmandu University School of Education, Lalitpur, Nepal. The process of sharing scientific facts, study insights, and academic discoveries with different groups is known as research communication. Thus, the goals are to share knowledge, help researchers understand data, and guide actions. It connects experts with other scholars, leaders, and the public. So, research communication on research methodologies aims to provide researchers with access to the most current, extensive, and important research methodologies in transformative education (e.g., critical, praxis-driven, change-oriented). In various societal systems, research methodologies are described, along with their processes and outcomes, in research communication. The specialized activity of research communication serves a variety of audience groups. To engage these audiences, you must be knowledgeable and skilled enough to translate complex findings into usable knowledge for non-experts without oversimplification. Rhetorical, quantitative, and qualitative research traditions are the most common types used in research communications. One of these will undoubtedly be applied much more frequently than the others in research communication.

With this ethos in mind, JrTP is now accepting manuscripts for a special issue on research communication, to be published in September 2027.

The deadline for the submission of the manuscript for the special issue is February 29, 2027. Please submit your manuscript as an MS Word (anonymous) file through the online submission protocol by creating your profile with all metadata at JrTP at https://www.editorialpark.com/jrtp. If there are any difficulties, send your queries directly to jrtp@kusoed.edu.np, or bcluitel@kusoed.edu.np, or niroj@kusoed.edu.np

The initial decision on the issue will be communicated to the corresponding author via email by the end of April 10, 2027. Further information about the journal, including submission guidelines and publication details, is available at https://jrtp.kusoed.edu.np/.
